Social Media effect on Israel and Gaza

Every week there are protests across the world on the GAZA attacks.

In 2008, Israel launched  Operation Cast Lead, an attack on Gaza.

The tanks rolled in, killing over 1,300 people, many of them women and children, and reducing their homes, schools and hospitals to rubble.

But social media was not there. News tended only to report the Israel side.

Now 2014. A cell phone and a twitter account can show graphic impacts of the bombings.

The Israelis had and have nothing with which to balance those images of bloodied, mangled little corpses in Gaza.

A new world.
