The U.S. Navy has awarded 14 companies contracts potentially worth up to $899,788,000 combined to research, develop and produce capabilities for C5ISR (command, control, communications, computers, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.

Awardees will also compete for task orders to R&D, build, test and evaluate capabilities for information operations and enterprise information services, theDefense Department said Wednesday.

Cumulative, estimated ceiling values of the contracts’ initial base years total $179,957,600.

Winning contractors include:

  • Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH)
  • CACI International (NYSE: CACI)
  • Centurum Information Technology
  • Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC)
  • Engility Corp. (NYSE: EGL)
  • Glotech
  • Honeywell Technology Solutions
  • Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT)
  • ManTech International (NASDAQ: MANT)
  • M.C. Dean
  • Qinetiq North America
  • Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAI)
  • Scientific Research Corp.
  • Sotera Defense Solutions

Each of the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee, performance-based multiple-award contracts contain provisions for fixed-price-incentive and firm-fixed-price task orders.

The Navy received 16 offers for the contracts through a full and open competition on the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center’s e-Commerce Central and the FedBizOpps websites.

Work under the base year will occur through March 2014 and could extend to March 2018 if all options are exercised.

At the time of award, the Navy will obligate $25,000 in fiscal 2013 SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic’s working capital funds and divide them among the awardees.
